George MacDonald Fraser

BritishApril 2, 1925 – January 2, 2008Adventure

George MacDonald Fraser created Flashman, a Victorian anti-hero and cad whose adventures satirized British imperial history while delivering enormously entertaining historical fiction. His blend of impeccably researched history with comic adventure was unique in the genre. He also wrote screenplays for the Three Musketeers films and the Bond film Octopussy.
