Isak Dinesen was the pen name of Danish author Karen Blixen, known for her lyrical storytelling rooted in Gothic, Romantic, and African themes. Her memoir Out of Africa and her collections of gothic tales established her as one of the most distinctive voices in 20th-century literature.
