John Farris

John Farris was an American writer who worked in multiple genre forms but is best known for his supernatural horror thrillers, beginning with Son of the Endless Night. His novel The Fury was filmed by Brian De Palma. He was a significant figure in American horror fiction and was recognized with a Bram Stoker Award for lifetime achievement.
