L. Sprague de Camp
L. Sprague de Camp was an American science fiction and fantasy author who wrote prolifically in both genres and was an important figure in the Golden Age of science fiction. His Harold Shea stories with Fletcher Pratt introduced the concept of dimensional travel to classic mythological and literary worlds. He also extensively edited and extended the Conan series.
