Lionel Davidson
Lionel Davidson was a British thriller writer who won the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger three times, an unmatched achievement. His range was extraordinary, from the Cold War spy thriller Night of Wenceslas to the Tibetan adventure A Long Way to Shiloh to the supernatural thriller Smith's Gazelle. He is considered one of the finest British thriller writers of the postwar period.
