Marcia Muller
Marcia Muller created Sharon McCone, the first major female private investigator in American crime fiction, predating V.I. Warshawski and Kinsey Millhone. The Edwin of the Iron Shoes is a landmark in the history of women's crime fiction. She has been recognized as a Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America.
