Marlon James is a Jamaican novelist who won the Man Booker Prize for A Brief History of Seven Killings. His Black Leopard, Red Wolf is the first volume of an epic dark fantasy trilogy drawing on African mythology and history. The novel has been praised for its imaginative scope and stylistic daring.
