Nnedi Okofor
Nnedi Okofor is a Nigerian-American author of African-based science fiction and fantasy who has won the Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy Awards. Her Binti novellas and the Lagoon novel bring African cosmologies and settings to the forefront of speculative fiction. She is a leading voice of Afrofuturism and has been instrumental in expanding the cultural diversity of the genre.
