Tanith Lee
Tanith Lee was a prolific British fantasy and horror writer whose work combined Gothic sensibility, feminist themes, and lush prose in a uniquely personal style. Her vampire novels, particularly the Blood Opera sequence, are among the most literary treatments of the vampire in fiction. She received multiple British Fantasy Awards and a Bram Stoker Award for lifetime achievement.
