Ragnar Jonasson
Ragnar Jónasson is an Icelandic crime writer whose Dark Iceland series, set in the remote northern Icelandic town of Siglufjordur, is one of the most atmospheric in Nordic crime fiction. His Hulda Hermannsdottir series is a prequel trilogy featuring a female detective. He has been instrumental in translating Agatha Christie into Icelandic.
