Reginald Hill
Reginald Hill was one of the most accomplished British crime writers of the late 20th century, creator of the odd-couple detective duo Dalziel and Pascoe. His novels were noted for their literary range, psychological insight, and willingness to tackle serious social themes within the crime fiction framework. He received the Crime Writers' Association Diamond Dagger for lifetime achievement.
