Sam Hawken
Sam Hawken is an American crime writer whose Camaro Espinoza series features a female protagonist who is a combat veteran navigating the criminal underworld of Southern California. His novels blend thriller plotting with feminist sensibility in the hard-boiled tradition. He also writes the El Paso Border trilogy.
