Joanna Russ
Joanna Russ was an American feminist science fiction author whose novel The Female Man is one of the most radical and influential works of second-wave feminist SF. Her critical writing was equally important in shaping how women's contributions to the genre were understood and valued. She was a fierce polemicist against sexism in literature and society.
