Joe R. Lansdale is a Texas writer who works across crime fiction, horror, weird westerns, and pulp adventure with riotous energy and dark humor. His Hap Collins and Leonard Pine series is a beloved bromance set in Deep East Texas. He has also written numerous horror novels and edited influential anthologies of weird fiction. He received multiple Bram Stoker and Edgar Awards.
