Kate Wilhelm
Kate Wilhelm was an American science fiction author who won three Hugo Awards including for the novel Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang, a deeply felt examination of cloning and individuality. She co-founded the Clarion Science Fiction Writers' Workshop with Damon Knight. Her detective novel The Hamlet Trap is also beloved.
