Lloyd Alexander
Lloyd Alexander was an American fantasy author whose Prydain Chronicles, based on Welsh mythology, are beloved classics of children's fantasy. The High King, the final volume, won the Newbery Medal. He was an enormously prolific author of fantasy and adventure for young readers.
