Michael Crichton
Michael Crichton was an American author, filmmaker, and physician who created some of the most commercially successful science fiction thrillers ever written. Jurassic Park, depicting cloned dinosaurs, and The Andromeda Strain, depicting alien microbiological contamination, are his most celebrated works. His techno-thrillers helped define the genre of science fiction accessible to mainstream audiences.
