Richard Preston
Richard Preston is an American journalist and writer whose nonfiction thriller The Hot Zone, about an Ebola outbreak in Virginia, sold millions of copies and created a new subgenre of the biological thriller. The Cobra Event, his debut novel, applied the same terrifying biological expertise to fiction. He has been credited with influencing real public health preparedness policy.
