Paco Ignacio Taibo II
Paco Ignacio Taibo II is a Mexican journalist and crime writer who created Hector Belascoaran Shayne, a one-eyed Mexico City private detective, and founded the neo-polar movement in Latin America. His politically engaged crime novels use the detective genre to expose corruption and violence in Mexico. He has received the Dashiell Hammett Prize.
