Peter Robinson
Peter Robinson was a British-born Canadian crime writer whose Inspector Banks series, set in Yorkshire, is one of the most accomplished and long-running in British crime fiction. His novels blended police procedural with genuine literary sensibility and a deep sense of Yorkshire landscape. He received the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger and other major awards.
