Rachel Pollack

Rachel Pollack was an American author and tarot scholar whose Unquenchable Fire won the Arthur C. Clarke Award. Her feminist fantasy drew on Jewish mysticism, tarot, and contemporary American mythology in a distinctive blend. She was an important figure in feminist and LGBTQ+ speculative fiction.
