Sax Rohmer
Sax Rohmer was the pen name of Arthur Henry Sarsfield Ward, whose Fu Manchu novels introduced one of the most infamous villains in popular fiction. Though deeply problematic in their racism, the Fu Manchu series created the mastermind villain archetype that influenced countless spy and adventure thrillers.
